Hello. I recently purchased MobileSheets for my old Samsung S5e tablet. I used the instructions to import files, used it in a rehearsal, all good. Today under pressure I had to find a piece online. I downloaded it and opened it in MobileSheets. It imported it as in a small window which I had not seen. Not for love nor money could I work out how to get it to be a normal page on screen. Not good.


As timing was tight I tried to open it in Acrobat but it defaulted back to MobileSheets - I ended up deinstalling MobileSheets to get it to  open Acrobat and the rehearsal could start!

I've attached a screen shot.  I have looked through the starter guide and the forum and I can't see a solution.

I have reinstalled MobileSheets and got exactly the same problem. There is nothing on the page that I can find to get it to be the normal full screen size. This is not an intuitive app!

What is the solution? How could I have known it, and what can I focus on in the manual so that I am ready to deal with this and other such problems that arise when the app is new?

You have got into the editing mode (where you can add files and stuff like that).  Just hit the cancel icon on the top row.

I can only assume you are tapping on files outside MobileSheets which is then importing the files into MobileSheets (which is why the song editor is being shown). If you want to change the defaults for PDFs, go to your tablet settings->Apps, and then depending on your tablet model, you can see things like "Choose default apps" and you may need to clear MobileSheets as the default for PDFs, or you can tap MobileSheets, and clear the default assignment there for PDFs. I should also add that you would have had to have chosen MobileSheets as the default app for PDFs at one point for this to be changed (that doesn't happen automatically).

If you want to load a file with a fullscreen view, you need to first import that file into MobileSheets. Then on the library screen, tap the song entry on the Songs tab to load the song. That's all there is to it.

Many thanks GraemeJ and Zubersoft.  You explained a lot (e.g. I did tap the file outside MobileSheets and I think I must have pressed "always" on opening it) and I hadn't tried the cancel button! All set now.
