Sync with backup file
#1
I created a backup file on a Windows PC and tried to sync that file with and Android table. It failed with a message implying it couldn't read the file. I then tried to restore the Android tablet using the same backup file and it work without error. Then, just to test the file further, I tried to sync the Windows PC with the same file and it worked.

Is there a problem syncing a backup file from Windows to MS on Android?

There isn't a known problem, but I can certainly run some tests to verify that nothing has changed. For most users, I would not recommend synchronizing with a backup file (it's only for very specific scenarios). It's usually much better to just synchronize directly over WiFi or to use a cloud folder.

I frequently do this to have the current version of a library available on a usually offline Raspberry Pi running Android and never had a problem.

I just synchronized with a Windows backup file on my Android device and it worked without issue. So I'll need a copy of a backup file that isn't working if you want me to investigate this further.
