I am experiencing strange behavior (or at least behavior I don't understand) when I try to use the functions "Remove from setlist" or collection. My understanding is that you would do one of two things:
1) Select a setlist to remove from, then in the dialog select a setlist to remove from it; or
2) Select a setlist to remove, then in the dialog select a setlist to remove it from
Neither of these seems to be the behavior. No matter how I try it, I don't get the result I want. For example, if I select Set A, say remove from setlist, and then select Set B, all the songs in Set A are removed. Likewise, if I select Set B, and then say remove Set A - all the files in Set A are removed! No matter how I do this, I can't remove the files I want from Set B.
Is this a bug, or do I just not understand how this feature is supposed to work?

When removing files from a setlist, I
1) Open the set list
2) Long press one of the songs that I want to remove (press until check boxes show)
3) Tick any other songs that I want to remove
4) Tap Remove (at top of screen.)
It should be similar for a collection
The other way is to edit the Metadata (long press a song, Edit, adjust the setlist or collection field).
You can probably select multiple songs before the Edit but I suggest you use my first approach as it is simpler to understand and has less scope for going wrong (multiple name entries may not share a common setlist or colletion value when you use Edit).

Thanks Geoff, I know how to edit a setlist. I'm talking about the menu function "Remove songs from setlist" that comes up when a setlist is selected. A dialog comes up that asks for a setlist, and when you select one strange things happen - like files get removed from the setlist you just selected instead of removing the files in that setlist from the one you started with.
BTW, all of this comes about because I'm trying to use this as a way of identifying songs that I haven't assigned to sets already. For example, I have 150 songs, and I'm trying to make 4 sets of 20 songs each. I wanted to make sure I don't duplicate entries across sets. I also want to know which songs I haven't yet put into a set. I know there is are functions "assigned/unassigned" when viewing a list of songs, but it only applies to Collections (as far as I know), not Setlists. Yes, I could copy all of my sets into Collections and try to proceed from there. But I was hoping I could just create a setlist with all of my songs, then remove the existing sets one by one, leaving only the unassigned songs.

Given that setlists can have the same song multiple times, if your show requires it, I cannot fathom how MobileSheets could do what you are trying to do. I could suggest using a spare field, such as rating, or custom, to mark songs you add but it would probably be quicker to export a list of all your songs (to your computer) and cross out each song name as it is added.

A bit of lateral thinking. Wouldn't this work?
Make an empty collection with whatever name you want (say "temp").
In the setlist screen select all setlists.
From the 3dot menu choose add songs to collection (temp)
In the song tab you choose the collections filter and select temp and use the mode exclude (or maybe unassigned)
I think then the songs you want show up
(not tested just thought about it)

Yes, it's a good thought, but I find the same anomalous behavior with the "add to songlist" function. That is, I select the empty songlist, say "add to songlist", select the songlist I want to add - and the empty songlist is still empty. There's just something about the use of these features that I'm not understanding. And by the way, I've been using MobileSheets Pro for over 10 years, run it on multiple computers, multiple operating systems, hundreds of songs, multiple libraries, etc. I think I could be described as a fairly advanced user (and still loving it).

And by the way, I really do think there are bugs here, because when I try this, sometimes random songs get removed from setlists or collections that I didn't even select.

Do you have anything in the search filter; this will restrict the entries that you see.

Looks like it's a bug on Windows. It does not occur on Android. I'll have to test iOS as well.

I have a fix in place for Windows. It also was not working properly on iOS (different error though), so I have both fixed for the next update.
