I add an m4a file to the chart and can play back the audio . After saving and when I go to play the audio along with the chart, the audio button does not work and I have no play along audio. 

If I go back into the edit function the audio plays back that not when I return to the chart.

What's up?

I have the newest version and I'm using a Samsung tablet l6 lite

If you go to Settings->Other Settings, do you have "Disable Audio Player" set to Always by chance? Otherwise please load the audio player, tap the settings icon and try toggling "Use advanced audio player" to see if that helps.
