Problem Accessing Nextcloud Server
#1
Hello,

I am trying to get NextCloud Access working.
The Connection was shown as successful. But when trying to import a file from nextcloud I am getting an Error:
Cannot access ""
And that is looping with "Loading"

Any idea?

Regards,
Stephan

I can add another data point to this issue.
In my case, the Nextcloud account itself works correctly with other clients, including the official Nextcloud app and CalDAV/CardDAV sync. Another account on the same Nextcloud server also works in MobileSheets.
The important difference seems to be the username: the account that fails contains a dot in the username, for example
Code:
firstname.lastname
.
MobileSheets accepts the credentials successfully, but afterwards it enters the loading loop and repeatedly shows:
Code:
Cannot access ""
So this may be related to how MobileSheets resolves or stores the WebDAV path for usernames containing a dot, or how the cached Nextcloud folder path is handled for that account.

Thanks for the information - I will have to investigate this to see where the problem lies.

Hi everyone,

I can confirm the same behavior with our users.
We also have usernames with dots. Just like manoffox.

Hi Zubersoft
I have also an issue with my MobileSheets regarding accessing a Nextcloud Drive. In general it works. I can login and see some folders and files. But Some folders are missing. I tried to clear the app cache and re-authenticate against this nextcloud instance but still these folders are not visible. If I try it via web browser with the exact same credentials, it works well and I can see all folders and files.

Used App:
Android
Version 3.9.41 (Build 588)

Cheers

That's very strange - would it be possible for you to temporarily create a guest login with read-only credentials so that I can investigate the problem further? If not, I'll need more information on the files that aren't showing up. Are these all PDFs? Can you take a screenshot of the file/folder list in the browser and send that to mike@zubersoft.com?

Thanks,
Mike
