For my use I think using Notes for lyrics may work best. I add a Smart Button at the top of my tablature to display the Notes. But the default Notes box is not full-screen and leaves some valuable real estate unused. Is there a way to change the size of the Notes box?

At the moment, no, as the size of the dialog is set to match the behavior on the other platforms, and on Android, Google's framework implements maximum dimensions for dialogs. I can consider implementing the notes popup in a different fashion though (such as a fullscreen overlay that just sits on top of everything else instead of using a dialog) in a future update for users that want that.
