Hi, I’m an organist and choir director and a Pro user of MobileSheets.
I use Lists to organize the different programs for liturgical celebrations throughout the year, with a naming convention like:

<CH/ORG><YYYYMMDD><Name of the celebration>

For example: 

• ORG 20260524 Pentecost;
  
• ORG 20260531 Trinity Sunday
  

Over time, these lists accumulate, and while I want to keep them as historical records, they clutter the "active" workspace.

Would it be possible to add a quick way to “archive” lists? Ideally, this could:

• Hide archived lists from the main view (or move them to a separate “Archived” section)
  
• Keep them intact for future reference/search
  
• Allow easy restore if needed
  

This would help keep the working environment clean without losing valuable past programs.

Or do you have a workaround for this?

I use a similar naming scheme for my setlists. I just switch the sort order of the setlist tab to A-Z and uncheck "Ascending". So the list is sorted in descending order (you did the date format already right to make it work), recent setlists are on top and older ones get out of sight further down the list.

As for itsme but I also put one or more spaces at the front of the set list name to keep current "lists" at the top of the page.
After the event. I use "3 vertical dots" | Rename to remove these leading spaces

That said, I still believe a proper “archive” feature would be very valuable. Even something simple would make a big difference: the ability to mark one or more lists as Archived, so they are hidden from all standard views.

Archived lists could then be accessed through a the usual list section disabling the filter (for example via the three-dot menu) and restored easily if needed.

The current workarounds (sorting or adding leading spaces) help in the main list view, but they don’t solve all cases. 

For example, when adding songs via Song (long press)→ three dots → Add to list, the lists appear in a fixed alphabetical order with no sorting options — so older lists still clutter the selection.

I disagree with this - adding spaces to the start of a "soon to be used" name makes it appear near the top of the screen and is easily accessible from the "Add to List" option.
There is no need to add songs to "archived" setlists - Just long press an old set list and Copy it to a new name (with spaces)

When your setlist is unmanageably long you could do your own archive and backup the library and add to or change the backup's filename so that you know what it contains, and then slim down your working setlist by deleting the archived setlists.

Alternatively, if you don't use collections you could create a collection from a setlist and then delete the setlist.

Or something I have never done, so I am not sure how well it will work: use a currently unused field to store your archived setlists there. I think you can rename fields - at least the custom fields.

There are qiute a few ways to get creative with MobileSheets. I think I read that Mike has a plan to create subfolders in Collections. I may be wrong but if he does, you could have one Collection called Archive and move your old setlists there. Moving multiple songs or whole setlists to collections or vice versa is easy.

The idea of subfolders in Collections sounds very promising. If something similar were extended to Lists as well, it would provide an even more flexible and scalable way to organize both active and archived material.

I definitely do not plan to have subfolders in collections. I plan to eventually add a new tab that is lists of collections, and another for lists of setlists (allowing the grouping of setlists or collections), but this is a little different than a subfolder.

I do plan on adding an archive feature at some point due to the fairly large demand for this.
