Hello,

I use a "big" Lenovo Tab P12 (Android 15) and a "small" Meebook P78 (Android 11, e-ink); both with Mobilesheets 3.9.41. I use library sync with wifi direct connection to maintain the songs (PDF), collections, set lists etc on the two devices.

The P78 has no gyro sensor, so I rotate some songs to landscape to get most out of the P78 screen size.

For sync I use the P12 as server and the P78 as client. I uncheck "Sync page scaling and display modes" which sounds exactly what I need (just another example of how well thought Mobilesheet is!)

Unfortunately Mobilesheets doesn't ignore the sync display settings (i.e. individual landscape settings on P78). It always tries to sync. Is that a bug or what am I doing wrong?

Hello Dietrich,

If you uncheck the option to "Sync page scaling and display modes", then for any song where you've overriden the default display mode, MobileSheets will not sync that selection. Please note that this doesn't have anything to do with the default display mode which affects all songs. It only relates to overrides you've made for individual pieces. If you are saying you unchecked this, and you are confident it's still synchronizing display settings overrides, I can look into this.

yes, I unchecked "Sync page scaling and display modes" and unfortunately that is ignored by Mobilesheets.

Rotation is not part of the display mode settings (that's only single page, two pages, vertical scrolling or half page display mode). If you don't want to sync rotation, you have to uncheck the option to synchronize metadata. It's all or nothing unfortunately.
