When the navigate tool (hand Icon) is selected it would be nice to have the ability to quickly zoom using multi-taps.
I'd imagine a double tap would act as a quick zoom in and zoom out similar to photo applications such as google photos. (Zooms in of the area that is double tapped)
If the user is already zoomed in at all:
- Because some documents are scaled differently, it would be nice to allow single taps to incrementally zoom in further
- Double Tap would reset the page to back to default zoom
This would be extremely helpful as when making different kinds of notes it would be nice to reset the zoom quickly without fighting with the zoom and having to exit and re-enter the editor. Especially considering buttons such as the 2 finger tap already making so convenient to switch to that tool.
I would imagine it would helpful to have dedicated options for the user to decide how much the double tap zooms in, and how much incremental single taps zoom in after that as well as whether those features are enabled.
Experimentally, if possible, I would entertain a 3 finger tap as yet another level the user can zoom into from fully zoomed out, but that might be overkill.
