Bug: Special characters in PDF metadata not read correctly on Windows
#1
Hello,
special characters in the SourceType field of PDF metadata are not read correctly on Windows.
For example "Flöte" is read as "Flöte".

It works fine with the same PDF file on the "normal" Android and Android e-Ink apps.

Please send the file you used to mike@zubersoft.com. I just tested this with a PDF and it worked just fine for me on Windows using Flöte.

Thanks,
Mike

Its translating problem:
ö  in  UTF‑8 bytes format is  C3 B6, in Latin1 this translates into:  ö

This is most likely a bug with the PDF library I use. I will contact them about it.
