Hi...
I play trumpet and am storing music on a Samsung tablet. I have successfully imported 200 "Trumpet 2" songs into a collection.
Now I want to load "Trumpet 1" parts for the same songs. I tried using a new collection, however, I am getting warned about duplicate songs.
Should I be using a different methodology? Songs and Collections doesn't seem to be doing it.
Any advice is welcome.
Thanks

Personally, I would just add a 1 or 2 to the song title, ie., Song xyz t1, song xyz t2. There are several other ways, but they seem to add steps to filtering. Then you could have 2 collections, trumpet 1 and trumpet 2 and the song should be right next to each other in the main library.
Additionally you could add any other instrument/vocal version using the same system, ie. xyz-v[ocal]-1 or xyz ac[ccordian].

@Skip: That worked perfectly!
Thanks for the suggestion!
@Ian: Thanks for the input. I will look into doing that going forward.

Just another trick you can use.
Merge the pdf into 1 and use the same pdf from trumpet 1 and 2 (like a satb would).
Then changes the pages,collection,title for each song for what you want it to be.

With Total Commander or similar tool you can batch rename your pdfs.
