manual sort breaks scrolling
#1
Hi folks!

I don't know when this bug was introduced, but it's survived a few updates, so I thought I'd report it.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Run iPadOS build of MS on Apple Silicon MacBook
2. Open a Setlist that is long enough that it requires scrolling to see everything
3. set Sort = Manual
4. enter Edit mode
5. check scrolling: it works
6. drag an entry to change the setlist sequence
7. try to scroll again: it's stuck and won't move
8. click any entry in the list
9. try to scroll again: it works again

Here's an animation that shows it:

Thanks for the information - I'll see if I can reproduce it.

Thanks! It reproduces every time for me.

Unfortunately, I'm not having any luck at all reproducing this issue.

The only issue I can reproduce is that, if I reorder using the three horizontal bars to reorder (versus a long/press click and drag), the list stays in an editable/reorderable mode after releasing until another click occurs. I'm assuming this is the basis of the problem you are describing, so I'll adjust it and see if that fixes the issue for you as well.

Interesting. Are you testing on a Mac? That's where I observe it.

Yes, I'm testing on both my Mac and my iPad. The behavior I'm seeing seems to be nearly impossible to override. It's built into the component itself, so I'm struggling to find a workaround.

Fascinating. It's not debilitating, just annoying. But I don't think it used to do it. Maybe they changed something at some point, introducing the glitch?

Unfortunately this really does seem to be an issue in Apple's handling of the component on MacOS. It works perfectly fine on an iPad, but not when the iOS app is running on MacOS. Hopefully Apple fixes it at some point.
