Recommending the new Teclast Artpad Pro 12.7" (released Aug 2025). Display is 2176x1600, so ratio is 4:3. It comes with an included pen that works quite well on MobileSheets. I'm a long time iPad Pro 12.9" user but prefer Android products. The one thing that has prevented me from switching over was Android tablet screens. 16:9, 16:10, and 3:2 just don't cut it, they are too narrow and you get big black boxes at the top & bottom. The NxtPaper 14 is 3:2, not 4:3, display is 2400x1600 (1600/2400=2/3). Note that the NxtPaper and Artpad both have 1600 across, they are the same width, different heights in portrait.
A few extra positives, it comes with 256GB storage, a solid 10000mAh battery (big) with 30W charging (fast), works great with my Flic button and Bluetooth pedal, runs Android 15 flawlessly (no lag), and the speakers are surprisingly good for a portable device.
The Artpad Pro comes in under $200 delivered (29% discount on Prime). I've migrated all of my annotated music (thousands of pages) from my iPad to the Artpad, it wasn't difficult, and I don't miss my iPad at all. Just hoping to spread the word to save folks some money. If you're looking for an Android tablet that feels like an iPad Pro 12.9, this is it.

I just bought the 13.2" Samsung TAB S10 FE+. I paid $550 CDN for it. Works like a charm with Mobilesheets. The price even includes the Samsung S Pen.

Good Morning
do you think that mobile sheets works on very cheap tablets? I have to buy a tablet just for it. I would use it just for Mobile Sheets and as an easy music source for Karaoke on youtube, connecting it with the earphone jack.
There are manu tablets 12' or bigger, that cost around $200. Do you think that it's just a waste of money?

I just got this tablet this week. My goals were:
Readability - the biggest screen possible!
Affordability - I am all Mac, but spending close to $2300 US for the biggest Ipad with a stylus is not feasible.
Touch Screen - have to be able to write notes on charts.
My plan is to dedicate this tablet to be a uni-purpose sheet music reader - used exclusively for importing and managing the music for multiple music projects.
This was the biggest screen I could find (14") for the money.
It looks great! It feels solid, not plastic-y or anything and after playing around with MS's scaling options, I can easily read all kinds of charts - some scanned hand written ones, lead sheets, and some charts that are scans of photocopies of photocopies, plus PDF fake books and 6-7 page long charts. I am very impressed with MS!
I have no affiliation with this product or company in anyway, just rolled the dice and took the plunge.

Great little tablet. A bit too small for my old eyes. It's now the backup for my 12" tablet. When it dies, I'll probably upgrade to a 14". The closer to paper size, the better.

There is no question that the TCL Nxtpaper14 is the best by far! The screen is 14 inches, but the cost is only $300! Matte finish screen and a stylus is included! There is no explaining why this thing exists, but I suggest getting one while it is still possible.

I wish I had something more useful to say, but I blindly followed the steps in the manual and it synced up without trouble (WIN11 also).

As I wrote in another thread, I got my TCL Nextpaper 14 on Monday and tested it yesterday in rehearsal. I will keep it to replace my iPad as primary sheets device. Still a bit disappointed with "only" 256 GB storage and no SC card expansion. But the rest seems great and especially the face gestures recognition worked really well, personally better than on the iPad since the TCL NP 14 isn't as reactive so there are noticable fewer false triggers, but still responsive enough for intended face gestures.
So TCL NP 14 is definitely in the top of tablets for MS especially with 14 inches screen for this price and the anti glare features.

I got the TCL NxtPaper 14 just before Xmas and spent 4 days using it in intensive rehearsals, followed by a concert. It worked impeccably. I used the normal display, tweaking the temperature a bit, and it was very clear and comfortable on the eyes. Annotations were easy to make using the pen. One of my colleagues was using her iPad and lots of people remarked how the music was a lot easier to read on my TCL display. In fact, much of it was bigger on my screen than the original A4 sheet music. And I really don't think the tablet is that heavy?
