Using update of MS Pro Companion

On opening MSPro Companion, I was invited to install an update, which I did.  (This seems to be v. 2.1.7).  When I went to link my tablet to the PC, I had a message on the Companion dialogue to say I was trying to connect to an outdated & incompatible version of MS Pro (I have v. 1.1.8).   What's the problem here, and how can I get tablet & PC to link?

Any advice welcome.

The 'problem' is that, following changes made to MSP, you need to upgrade both Companion and MSP together. Failure to do so means they will be incompatible. This has pretty much been the case for most upgrades.
