Mike, I don't know how much those in the USA are aware of what is going on outside the USA. As your current president-come-king-and-dictator is creating chaos and starting wars, killing people (even Americans), insulting allies and more, there is a move to not line his pockets and make life more predictable by moving away from using US businesses. Canada, the EU and Asia are front-runners in this.

In respect to cloud providers, Box, Google, Microsoft and Amazon are US providers, so non-US folk are looking at moving to providers such as Nextcloud (German) and pCloud (Swiss). This will be part of the reason why you are and will be getting requests for letting MobileSheets connect to these sources.

As MobileSheets users, we need to appreciate that these servies need to provide a suitable API for you to work with, which I believe is why Proton (Swiss) is not currently possible.

I have received very few requests for Box - you and sliphorn in the original post are the only two users that ever asked me for box support. That's part of the reason as to why it has not been added sooner. I just added nextcloud in the last update (which also works for owncloud I believe, but I need to do more testing for that), as I was getting a lot of requests for nextcloud. I will be adding more cloud services soon now that changes are in place to make this faster and easier.

Well, I had never heard of Box before this wedding band hired me. I can't tell what sync actually gets me that I can't get just by mass-downloading the files and syncing them with MobileSheets through my PC. (Which I can't do in ForScore, by the way—only from a Mac. )
Would it automatically update files that someone uploads on the server? Or at least tell me there's an update? I've bought MobileSheets three times now but never messed with the cloud storage stuff.

So the cloud synchronization is all manually triggered at the moment. So if another user synchronizes their library with a cloud folder and pushes up changes, you can synchronize with that same folder and pull down changes to your device. This will transfer over all of the song data, including link points, smart buttons, bookmarks, annotations, all of the song metadata, etc. If you just imported files, you wouldn't get any of that, but if that is not relevant or important for you, then you can just import files instead of relying on the library synchronization.
