Aha! If it helps, I'm really waiting for this feature too!
Or just a tempo indication (numbers) would also help. When you have multiple tempi in a piece, it's sometimes hard to guess how many times you pressed "next tempo"...

I'm a cellist in a French orchestra, and of course, it's not essential, but adding a tempo change function within smart button to start and stop the metronome would be really helpful!
