AirTurn Airturn Direct Mode?

Hi,
I'm just trying to verify whether my Airturn Duo BT-500 is connected in Mode 1 (Airturn Direct) mode.
I've followed the instructions and the Airturn is successfully connected to my Android tablet, and it works. I assume if the Airturn is in Mode 1, it's not added to the OS as a BT device, and it connects to MSP, it should be in Direct mode, correct?
Does Direct Mode still emulate a keyboard? When I set a pedal switch to a key, it still registers as PgUp or PgDown, which I thought was how it's supposed to work in Mode 3.

import text onto pdf/png sheet music

I'm in a massive rush right now.
I have lots of instructions on how to play tunes - beginnings, endings, who solos, etc.
I am manually copying text, formatting text from a PDF into text document (one text document per song) and then dropping to Google Drive.
From my Android MobileSheets application I edit the sheet music using the text icon (large T). I am able to manually copy from the text file stored on Google Drive and then paste into the sheet music.
HOWEVER - there are no carriage returns. *sigh*
But, since I'm here asking questions - is the above workflow the only way to do this. I understand that you can add text using only the android tablet within MobileSheets. But I can't use an Android keypad - too hard to manipulate - I need a desktop computer to manipulate text.
My other option might be to create screen shots and import a tiny image onto the sheet music.
Anyway thanks for any advice and what not.

I am looking at buying Tonestro to help regulate my practice. I play Clarinet. (Sopranino, Soprano and Alto)
I can put my windows Laptop and my android phone on my stand together.
Ideally, I want to play a score and view my mistakes.

Backup restores problem

Mike,
I've been experiencing issues with files being restored from backups or imported via .msf ending up in the wrong locations. I've raised this problem many times in the past, but it doesn't appear to have been resolved, at least not for me.
My setup: - Devices: 2 Windows and 1 Android e-ink (both on the latest versions).
- Storage: Mapped Google Drive folder "D:\My Drive\MSP songs" on Windows and "/storage/emulated/0/MSP songs" on Android.
- Pieces are organized in subfolders for each composer.
- Settings: "Let MSP manage my files" and "Create subdirectories for pieces" are off on both operating systems.
Steps I take before creating a backup:
I always run "Find missing files" and "Fix broken file paths" beforehand to catch any songs with incorrect or missing paths that I may not have noticed — particularly tracks I haven't played in a while. No files are supposed to exist outside their respective composer folders.
The problem:
The backup itself is created without issue, but upon restoring it, dozens - sometimes hundreds of files end up in the root of the storage folder instead of in their corresponding composer folders.
To test this today, I completely deleted my library on my Android tablet and restored a backup made on Windows. While most composer folders were recreated and contained the majority of their songs, at least 100 PDF and audio files ended up outside their composer folders and were missing from them.
The same thing happened when I restored the backup to my other Windows device. So it doesn't seem to depend on the Operating system.
The songs still open correctly, but the files are physically in the wrong location. Because of this, running "Find missing files" or "Fix broken paths" returns zero results — everything loads and plays fine, so the tools don't flag anything, even though the files are misplaced.
The huge work is to relocate manually all the files again to their folders and then run the tools to fix the paths in the database.
I can confirm also that exporting as .msf and re-importing has the same issue, the imported files are stored outside their original composer folder.
I haven't tried to do a backup in android and restore in Windows. The files are too messed up in my e-ink tablet.
UPDATE: After clearing the library I've used "Sync library" from the last backup and it restored everything perfectly, no files outside the composers' folders.
I've done for both, my PC laptop and my e-ink Android tablet.
However, restoring a regular backup still makes a mess in both OS.

Nudge Tool Missing - Can't Bring it Back

New to MobileSheets. For a brief time the Nudge tool (looks like for arrows) was always there as I edited (by selecting the arrow at top of menu).
Now the nudge tool is gone - and it seems impossible to bring it back. I keep reading forum posts about this - and how to make the nudge tool return - but all instructions are a dead end for me. Objects that people describe aren't there - basically.
How do I bring the nudge tool back?
EDIT: Fixed typo by changing the word are to aren't
